The Role:-
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an RICS qualified Asset Manager with significant experience to assist the Council in this key role, being responsible for maximising income from its property investment portfolio and ensuring the effective management of the Council’s varied operational and valued community estate.
As the lead Asset Manager, you will take responsibility for working with the Council’s appointed Investment & Asset Managers responsible for the asset management of a varied office, retail and industrial portfolio within and outside the Borough comprising multi let, FRI and ground lease assets.
In addition, the role will be responsible for providing expertise and support to the Regeneration team and its developments within the Major Projects programme whilst leading an Estates team with responsibility for the effective management of the Council’s operational and community estate.
What we are looking for:-
• A team player, with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills for effective collaboration and
delivery of strategic objectives.
• MRICS qualified.
• Track record of success and extensive experience in asset management
• Financially numerate, with strong proven understanding of valuation techniques, cashflow
modelling, and data analysis.
