Salary: £34,012 to £37,636 including local weighting

We are looking for an experienced, customer focused HR Advisor to join our HR shared services team on a fixed term contract, covering maternity leave, initially for 6 months. The HR Advisor will play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources team to deliver a first-class advisory service to Watford Borough Council and Three Rivers District Council.

You will ensure the delivery of a professional HR service and be confident in advising on all operational HR issues, employee relations, sickness absence management, role evaluations and recruitment.

We are going through a period of significant change and HR’s role is critical in driving this through in line with our People Strategy and Values & Behaviours project.

To be the successful candidate, you are likely to have worked as an operational HR Advisor or equivalent, in a public sector environment.
